4.8% of young girls in Rwanda are HIV positive

A HIV Sentinel Survey amongst pregnant women attending clinics indicates the AIDS prevalence rate among the girls aged between 15 and 19 is now estimated at 4.8 per cent and the majority live in urban centres.

Kampala Conference Report Back

It was wonderful to meet many of ICW's members at the Kampala Conference. The Conference was a valuable opportunity to discuss, strategise and share our experiences with each other. A number of members also agreed to make notes during the workshops they attended so that ICW members who were not able to attend the Conference could learn about the issues discussed.
