ICW interviews HIV positive women from India and Nepal about their experiences of abortion services

In 2008 ICW conducted qualitative semi-structured interviews with HIV positive women  from India and Nepal who had accessed or tried to access abortion services about their experiences.

ICW Joins Other Organizations in Calling for Universal Access to Reproductive Health

In the midst of critical discussions regarding U.S. foreign assistance reform and a re-write of the 1961 Foreign Assistance Act, more than 50 faith-based, human rights, health, development and environmental organizations and program implementers have endorsed specific recommendations for expanding access to sexual and reproductive health and rights as critical to achieving development goals.

Sex, Rights, and the Law in a World with AIDS

ICW has participated in developing a briefing paper on sex, rights, and the law for the AIDS2031 initiative. ICW gave specific input on the criminalization of HIV/AIDS and it's impact on women.

SIGN-ON letter: CDC proposed rule to remove HIV-related travel restrictions

An ad hoc working group of advocates drafted a sign-on letter to submit to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as joint public comment on the proposed regulation to remove the so-called HIV travel ban. Immigration Equality is collecting signatures on its website at http://www.immigrationequality.org/template3.php?pageid=1140. To make the CDC'S August 17th deadline for submission, Immigration Equality is taking signatures through August 12th.
