SIGN-ON letter: CDC proposed rule to remove HIV-related travel restrictions

An ad hoc working group of advocates drafted a sign-on letter to submit to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as joint public comment on the proposed regulation to remove the so-called HIV travel ban. Immigration Equality is collecting signatures on its website at To make the CDC'S August 17th deadline for submission, Immigration Equality is taking signatures through August 12th.

In addition to the organizational sign-on letter, the working group encourages individuals and organizations to send in their own separate comments.

For any questions about the sign-on letter, please contact Vickie Neilson.
