SIGN-ON letter: CDC proposed rule to remove HIV-related travel restrictions
An ad hoc working group of advocates drafted a sign-on letter to submit to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as joint public comment on the proposed regulation to remove the so-called HIV travel ban. Immigration Equality is collecting signatures on its website at http://www.immigrationequality.org/template3.php?pageid=1140. To make the CDC'S August 17th deadline for submission, Immigration Equality is taking signatures through August 12th.
In addition to the organizational sign-on letter, the working group encourages individuals and organizations to send in their own separate comments.
For any questions about the sign-on letter, please contact Vickie Neilson.
