A Call for Leadership

ICW would like to join other charities, governments and UN agencies throughout the world in encouraging the Burmese government to allow aid workers unrestricted access to the communities affected by last week's devastating cyclone.
ICW would especially like to highlight the vulnerability of the 110,000 women living with HIV and AIDS throughout the country. Our thoughts are with each of these women and their families in the short term (where life-saving support is required) and in the longer term as they attempt to rebuild their lives.
Individuals who would like to share information about the impact of Cyclone Nargis (and its aftermath) on women living with HIV and AIDS are welcome to email Emma@icw.org.
